This email landed in my partner's in-box this morning:

I am CEO of ACME Corp in Cupertino, CA.

We are in mobile telephone switching network domain. We provide end-to-end solutions for telecoms. We have in hand PO from China and we are confident to get more POs from India, China before end of Q1 09.

We are seeking $100M in funding.

You are clearly a CEO blessed with extraordinary relationship building skills and a strong commercial sense! Send $10m now to cover our immediate DD costs - when can we start?
