As a frequent critic of the low signal-to-noise ratio in the world of user-generated content, I am happy to report the discovery of a new talent on Youtube. She is actress/director/vlogger Christine Gambito, and she goes by the name of Happyslip. To me, this is an example of great creative use of the new web publishing technologies: it's a convergence of the right hardware (Mac Book), right software (iMovie) and Web 2.0 blah-blah (Youtube). Even if only a handful of the new web publishers who are successful are as good as Happyslip, the Web 2.0 revolution will have been worth it.
Here's one of her videos; the rest can be found on YouTube or on her site. Enjoy.
